Organizing Committee. INTERIA AWARDS Open All-Russian Competition 2017

  • Statute of Organizing Committee of INTERIA AWARDS Open All-Russian Competition


    1. Basic Provisions
    1.1. The Organizing Committee of INTERIA AWARDS Open All-Russian Competition (hereafter referred to as Organizing Committee) provides the coordination and control of all works and events connected with the realization of the INTERIA AWARDS Competition (hereafter referred to as Competition).
    1.2. The membership and the panel of the Organizing Committee are approved annually by the Organizer of the Competition.
  • 1.3. The Organizing Committee carries out its activities in accordance with the Statute of INTERIA AWARDS Competition and the Statute of Projects Submission for INTERIA AWARDS Competition.
    1.4. The Organizing Committee has the right to build up a task group (hereafter referred to as Task Group) to complete any task related with preparing and holding the Competition; the duration of this Task Group’s work is limited with the set task. The Organizing Committee has the right to build up the Task Groups as and when necessary; the number of the Task Groups’ members is not limited.
    1.5. The members of the Task Group are selected
  • by the executive of the Organizing Committee. The Organizing Committee and Task Group’s routine is defined by this Statute.

    2. Organizing Committee and Task Group Work
    2.1. The Organizing Committee’s meetings are held as and when necessary, but no less than once a month.
    2.2. The Organizing Committee’s meetings are headed by the Organizing Committee’s executive. In certain cases the Organizing Committee’s executive has a right to designate one of the Organizing Committee’s members to hold the meetings.
    2.3. The meetings of the Task Group are held weekly
  • under the supervision of the Organizing Committee’s deputy executive.
    2.4. During the meeting the Organizing Committee brings up the points according to its work schedule approved by the Organizing Committee’s executive directive. The points which are beyond the work schedule can be brought up during the Organizing Committee’s meeting by the Organizing Committee’s executive or deputy executive.
    2.5. During the Task Group meeting the organizational, technical, financial and creative issues are discussed, along with the Competition realization offers made by the members of the Competition Professional Council
  • and public initiatives. The Task Group routine is defined by the Organizing Committee's deputy executive.
    2.6. The well-timed provision of information about the meeting venue and time is provided to the Organizing Committee’s members and persons invited to the meeting by the Organizing Committee’s executive secretary.
    2.7. The decisions of the Organizing Committee are made by a majority vote of the Organizing Committee’s members present at the meeting.
    2.8. The draft decisions of the Organizing Committee are prepared by the designated persons
  • and are presented to the Organizing Committee no later than 2 days before meeting.
    2.9. The decisions made by the Organizing Committee are signed by the Competition Organizer and sent to the executives. The decisions made by the Organizing Committee by virtue of its authority are binding.
    2.10. The responsibility for preparing the Organizing Committee’s meetings is rest upon the Organizing Committee’s executive and deputy executive.

    3. Organizing Committee’s Functions
    3.1. The Organizing Committee provides:
    - control and coordination of the Competition;
  • - definition of the Competition conduction conditions (Competition stages, participants evaluation methods);
    - definition of the jury-selecting technique;
    - decision about the Public Council composition;
    - public announcement about the beginning of the Competition;
    - carrying out events as part of the Competition information campaign according to the approved plan;
    - coordination of work with media partners about the Competition information campaign;
    - Competition submission receiving, checking the requirements and conditions compliance;
    - registration of participants;
  • - application preprocessing for the preview;
    - jury routine coordination;
    - approval of the Professional and Public Councils voting results;
    - organization of the awarding ceremony.

    4. Organizing Committee’s Rights
    4.1. The Organizing Committee has the right to:
    - check the veracity of the information provided by the participants of the Competition;
    - reject the entrants to participate because of the Competition requirements non-compliance;
    - disqualify the participants for violation of the
  • prescribed rules, for Competition requirements and conditions non-compliance, and for disinformation.

    5. Organizing Committee’s Responsibilities
    5.1. The Organizing Committee should:
    - provide equal conditions for all participants;
    - provide the publicity of the Competition;
    - provide the privacy of the data provided by the participants;
    - hold the results confidential until the official
    awarding ceremony.

  • 6. Organizing Committee’s Liability
    6.1. The Organizing Committee bears liability of infringing upon this Statute and other rules and procedures of preparing and conducting the Competition, fixed in the other statutes: Statute of Competition, Statute of Projects Submission, Statute of Public Jury, and Statute of Professional Jury.
    6.2. The Organizing Committee does not
    bear liability for:
    - incomplete and unintelligibly completed
    application form;
    - violation of the Competition submission
    deadline by the participant.
